Green was captured in a corner of Swallowship Woods - a wonderful sprawling collection of smaller plantations and copses around a mile south of Hexham. This particular area, called Halfmile Wood, had been felled a year or so earlier and so was quite open with some older trees that had been left standing, with swathes of thicket and brush between them.

Green is a panoramic stitch made up of three portrait images and was shortlisted for the British Photography Awards Landscape category in 2020.
