On the outskirts of Hexham is Tyne Green, a wonderful stretch of country park running parallel to the River Tyne on the south bank. It is busy most days - joggers, rowers, dog walkers, golfers. And to most who know it, the cottage in Yet will be familiar. It sits across the Tyne on the north bank and catches the eye throughout the year - its size, its stone, its situation, the lazy river gliding by. Yet was captured in mid-October, just as the trees started to turn.
