Arch
Arch was captured on an autumn afternoon on the south bank of the river Tyne in Hexham.

Tyne Green Country Park is a wonderful space to explore. It runs parallel to the Tyne with a grand avenue of huge trees lining the route. At the east end of the park there is a rowing club and a concrete launch offering views of Hexham Bridge and the force of the Tyne as it rushes over the weir.
Arch is a blend of two photographs. Although the Tyne was quiet and almost mirror-like on the day, a long exposure image was taken and used alongside a quicker exposure designed to capture the flock of geese on the far side of the river.

All prints ordered through The Wynd Photographic are fine art prints. That is to say, they are produced using the giclee process in combination with a smooth, archival, 300gsm cotton based paper by Fotospeed.

Once a print has been ordered, it is either produced by Pete in his own workshop or, if scale dictates, via an independent local print house he collaborates with regularly. Pete oversees all printing before performing quality checks, adding his signature, and packaging the finished work at the Wynd Gallery.

Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee a set turnaround time for an online order. Each client and order is slightly different and may require a particular approach to production. Wherever possible, we aim to complete and dispatch orders within 7 days of them being received.
